Supporting animal rescue organizations was my initial inspiration when I started the Beer Paws brand in 2013. Because of the love and support of dog enthusiasts like you, we've managed to donate thousands of dollars in cash and products over the years to organizations that take care of our furry friends.
We usually keep a low profile about our contributions, but I thought it would be nice to share some updates on recent collaborations. Earlier this summer, we ran a buy one-give one campaign on BeerPaws.com, where for every bag of treats sold, we donated a bag to the wonderful Randi's Rockin' Dachschund Rescue in Leavenworth, KS. In just a few days, this initiative resulted in 30 bags of treats for the rescue!
Back in my hometown of Beatrice, Nebraska, we did a similar BOGO event, and managed to collect 15 bags of treats for the Beatrice Humane Society. Around the same time, we teamed up with Stone Hollow Brewing Company to install a Beer Paws vending machine in their brewery. It's been collecting donations for Beatrice Humane Society, one Beer Paws treat at a time!
Lastly, we're currently donating 1% of all online sales to PetFix Spay & Neuter, a free spay and neuter service that's in high demand on the Big Island of Hawaii, where there's a major pet overpopulation issue. These and other donations are tracked and automatically contributed through the Give & Grow Donations application connected to our website.
